The New Orleans Teddy Bear Tours are a Collection of over 12,000+ Bear Items in Ricky A. Lenart's 3-Story Home, located at 1525 Dufossat Street, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has opened it up during the Holiday's between Thanksgiving & 12th Night (January 6th) since 2006. BUT THIS IS THE LAST YEAR FOR THE TOUR, because the bears are moving to thier new home in Picayune, Mississippi. Every year Ricky tries to out-do himself in the decorations, so the displays will change year to year, some minor, some completely new. Plus, yearly his Collection of Bears continually to grow! Themes in the windows have been "Snowing at the Teddy Bear Circus" & "Bears in the Movies," such as this year. The themes in each room vary from: Old Fashioned Teddy Bear Christmas; Teddy Bear Mardi Gras; Snowing at the Teddy Bear Picnic; Goldilocks & the 3 Bears; Teddy Bear Museum; Bears taking a Bath; Teddy Bear Bakery, Teddy Bear Circus; etc. Usually about 20 different themes throughout the house, with lights, animation, music, effects, smells; plus other displays, art work, antiques, & history of the house. The Tour Hours & costs depends on the Non-Profit Organization, that Sponsors the Tours.
